Example: The Russian word for Today /See-Vyod-ya/

Thank you all for your help with this .. I am a beginner at this and hope to visit Moscow soon. I've noticed that a Russian language Thesauras  would be handy too.

Dear TheLongWayHome,

"Его" and "ого" are pronounced as "eva" and "ava" at the end of the words and sometimes in the middle: ничего (nicheVO), сегодня (siVOdnya) It also concerns the Genitive case of the neutral and masculine adjectives that also end in "его" and "ого". хорошего (kharOshevo), смешного (smeshnOva), etc.
