What's the Russian proverb that conveys the meaning "It's fun to tease a bear from a small window"?

I'm looking for the closest match in Russian. Is there a proverb that conveys the meaning similar to "It's fun to tease a bear from a small window"?

P.S. Thanks, Alex, for rephrasing the question, and Yulia for your answer. Our Russian teacher 45 years ago gave us that proverb, but the translation was all I could remember!

Hi Tiferet,

The Russian proverb for that is:

Хорошо́ медве́дя в окно́ дразни́ть.

It´s nice to tease a bear from a window.

It means "It´s simple to be brave when the danger is far from you"

There´s another proverb with the same meaning:

Дразни́ соба́ку на цепи́.

Tease a chained dog.

Kind regadrs,
