I apologize in advance for the vague nature of the question, but what are some common Russian phrases you use with children? (This topic was not something that university-level Russian courses prepared me for.)
For example, "Дай лапу", "Дорога!", "Баиньки пора", etc. are expressions I imagine are typically used with children. But there must be many more of these that I don't know about.
I don't know how to ask my child if she needs to use the bathroom (perhaps Тебе надо в туалет?), wants more milk (perhaps Ещё молока?), etc.
Are there any classic phrases for children that I should know about and might not? Thanks in advance for any help on such an open-ended question.
